What's it like at Montriond resort?

Montriond is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area in Haute Savioe France (with 650KM of pistes in 14 resorts) - the world's largest ski domain. Montriond shares the same pass as Avoriaz, giving 43 lifts and some of the best snow sure skiing in the Alps. Montriond is known to have the best access to the Portes Du Soleil, being positioned right in the middle of the circuit and excellent access via the new Ardent high speed gondola and free parking. The Stash is a major draw, being a natural snowpark with easy access to Avoriaz, it has been joined last season by a new jump-park. Montriond is renowned for its gourmet restaurants in Les Lindarets, a small goats village within the ski domain. Cross country skiing is available around Lac Montriond. Montriond forms part of the Avoriaz circuit.
