Terrific resort. Super user friendly, great layout, variety of terrain, best snow-making and grooming in the area, easy to get to from MA, but not NY. It's a Boyne Resort and a well run business. With that you get high prices and big crowds. They do a good job dealing with the masses but it's no place to be on a weekend. Canon Mt. nearby is a good choice if Loon is too busy although it is an entirely different experience and not for the timid.
