Limone seems to have it's own micro climate. It is fabulous summer or winter. The skiing is great as is the apres-ski. For me it is 1.5 hours away so very convenient to hop on the train or drive. You can enjoy Nice one day and the slopes the next with a beautiful mountain railway taking you there. Hotel Albergo Principe sits 50m from the lift so well placed and a comfortable place if a little dated.
