We have lived in France for 10 years and started our skiing here. Beautiful resort, great slopes, excellent restaurants and bars, staff are really friendly. Ski here at least 5 or 6 times a month; excellent air de camping. Good value all 'round.

Though I am English I live within 50 minutes of La Pierre and learned, at 55 yrs, to ski here. It is a lovely family friendly station with great views. There are easy and some testing runs as well. This last year 14 million Euros has been spent on new lifts and development. It has good little eating places and accommodation. Maybe a little quiet re apres-ski.

La Pierre Saint Martin is a little and charming French Pyrenean skiing set. A lot of snow in winter, particularly at spring. Landscape looks wild; don't forget you're situated in the French Western Pyrenees National Park, eagles, grouse and bears are not very far away.
