Hirasan in Japan (located in the Shiga prefecture) is a very small ski resort with just three ski lifts with only 189 metres (621 feet) of vertical descent. Hirasan has 5 pistes. Hirasan is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers.
