Highly recommended! We were there last week, very lucky with the weather, 6 sunny days. Fully agree with the last reviewer - spectacular views, wide pistes (by Austrian standards), excellent lift system with very little queuing. I've been skiing for 18 seasons and this is the best area I've been to.

Finkenberg is an excellent resort. The scenary in the Ziller and Tux valleys is breathtaking. Finkenberg is picture postcard. The resort is friendly, with 2 good nitespots the Laternal and the Finkenest. As far as the skiing is concerned, the super zillertal liftpass is one of the best value passes I have seen. It covers 589km of piste which includes the public buses and trains (which are punctual). The ski areas are well interlinked by modern lifts meaning no queues! The now was fantastic with powder conditions for the whole week, treelined runs, great funpark. Lots of mountain restaurants which were reasonable! This is one of the best area I have ever skied and I wouldn't rush back to France! Miles and miles of pretty skiing, grat nightlife and no queues, heaven!
