Campitello is a quite, pretty little village not too far from the busier Canazei. The one access point to the ski area is from Col Rodella which is pretty quick despite what might appear to be large queues. Once onto the mountain at Campitello the variety of slopes is amazing, as are the mountain huts. Proper Italian food and wine. The Sella Ronda is easily achievable from here and in both directions. The circuit itself is good fun and the flat bits are nothing to worry about so long as you can either 'skate' or get up enough speed to sail along them. We did Campitello in March when there were very few crowds and wall to wall sunshine - a beautiful place.
