Bogus Basin, in the United States (Idaho State), is a medium sized ski resort with 10 ski lifts (6 chair lifts, 4 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 549 metres (1800 feet) of vertical descent. Bogus Basin has 2600 acres of terrain over 53 trails. Bogus Basin is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 32 kilometers (20 miles) of cross country ski trails at Bogus Basin. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe. A small proportion of the trails at Bogus Basin are covered by snow-making. The nearest airport is at Boise and the nearest train station to Bogus Basin is at Boise. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in Bogus Basin.

Underrated. There is a LOT of DIVERSE terrain here. Front side - back side - North - East, etc., etc...

Smooth groomers and some really nice tree skiing if you've got the itch.
