What's it like at Alleghe resort?

Alleghe, in Italy (in the Veneto region), is a medium sized ski resort with 7 ski lifts (inc 3 chair lifts and 5 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1100 metres (3609 feet) of vertical descent and a total piste length of 80 kilometers (48 miles). Alleghe is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders with some terrain for beginners but little of interest for advanced skiers. There are 37 kilometers (23 miles) of cross country ski trails at Alleghe. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park. All of the pistes at Alleghe are covered by snow-making. The closest airport is at Venice / Venezia but the transfer time is 2 hours. The nearest train station to Alleghe is at Belluno. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in Alleghe.

Alleghe è un piccolo villaggio Ladino ai piedi del Monte Civetta 3218 m la seconda montagna più alta dopo la Marmolada 3343 m . Un bellissimo lago alpino naturale formatosi 300 anni fa al centro della valle. Meta turistica estiva per scalatori alpinisti e camminatori tra i rifugi della München Venedig e dell' Alta Via 1 Dolomiti, paradiso per i bikers freerider e amanti dei percorsi del Giro d' Italia.In inverno sciatori e snowboarder nel comprensorio sciistico più grande al mondo Dolomiti Superski sono clienti fissi da novembre ad aprile su oltre 80 km di piste.Solamente 2 ore da Venezia ed altrettante 2 ore 30 da Innsbruck. In zona oltre al servizio autobus il servizio Taxi Alleghe Dolomites Company.
