USA - Hawaii: latest snow conditions round-up

USA More resorts saw their closing weekend across the USA, with approximately half of our featured resorts now closed. For those still open however, plenty of great skiing can be found, including fresh snow across the Rockies. Alta (272cm) in particular saw 48cm of snow in 48 hours, giving some great late season conditions, while other resorts in Utah also saw impressive snowfalls recorded for this time of year.

It was warmer on the east coast, though also cloudy and overcast, with some resorts having seen far more modest dustings of snow over the past weekend. Temperatures are around or below freezing for the most part, with minimal signs of what are thought of as typical mid-April conditions. There is even the chance of another substantial snowfall in the latter part of this week across Colorado if forecasts hold steady
