Japan - Kyoto: latest snow conditions round-up

JAPAN This past weekend saw us move down to five featured Canadian ski resorts still open, two in Banff, Marmot Basin (154cm), Whistler (320cm)as the sole resort in British Columbia and Mont Sainte Anne (50/110cm) on the East Coast.

Both lake Louise (181/247cm) and Sunshine Village (226cm) saw fantastic late season snowfall over the weekend, helping to keep their slopes in shape for the remainder of the month, as well as provide some lovely warm April powder skiing. It looked set to continue snowing through Monday 16th April, and potentially later in the week. Whistler was in slightly more varied shape, with good conditions on the upper slopes though more slushy in resort.e (181/247cm) and Sunshine Village (226cm) saw fantastic late season snowfall over the weekend, helping to keep their slopes in shape for the remainder of the month, as well as provide some lovely warm April powder skiing.
