If conditions are right Yad Moss is a nice outing. By the way: the roads from Weardale and Haltwhistle are less likely to block up than the Penrith-Alston route. A little hint for freeriders: Walk up to Cross Fell (just west of Yad Moss) and board down to Ousby, Kirkland or Blencarn in right conditions. An amazing route!

Walk up to Cross Fell (just west of Yad Moss) and board down to Ousby, Kirkland or Blencarn in right conditions. An amazing route!
