Fortunately, there was a good snow fall in Pooladkaf on last Tuesday. It was near 40 centimeters in bottom and more at the higher area of the ski resort. So we (me and my colleges) decided to go for ski to Pooladkaf. On Thursday 7 o’clock we departed from Shiraz toward Sepidan and then to ski resort. At 8:30 we were there. It was a shiny day with blue sky and very clear view of area with huge amount of snow in the ground. After eating breakfast I rented the skis and started to ski by going up the hill with ski lift and coming down. It was a very good time for us to practice ski and enjoy the nature and clean air.
It is predicted on next Tuesday night until Wednesday afternoon. There is a light snow fall, so we are thinking to plan a next visit of the Pooladkaf reigon.
The interesting point here is that in Shiraz where we live, there is a mild weather but 100 km toward northwest we have the beautiful Pooladkaf ski resort with severe weather.
I hope to have a very good precipitation in the area specially snow in Pooladkaf this year.
