Eyeball surf report
  1. eyeball reporter Fresh snow and great late season riding for your Friday in Thredbo. Around 25cm of snow blankets the mountain with 5cm dusting the village. It is still snowing all the way to the village and with the temps hanging around -3 up top the snow is nice and dry up high. Snowfalls set to stick around for the day. Head up and get yourself some late season freshies.
  2. Snow forecast logo 2Snowline Ski Centre Smiggin Holes: Friday 30th September. Out our front window this morning. The temp is -1. What a morning !! 12cm of fresh dry powder overnight and still snowing heavily. 17 lifts are expected to operate with 20 groomed runs. The fresh cover will be light and dry. Lots of dry stashes in the trees but stick to the groomed runs for today. Goggles and neck warmers a must. Visibility will be low due to heavy snowfalls. Rug up and enjoy this sensational day.

Other resorts in Australia - New South Wales are reporting: powder (1) / good piste (2)

Visitor Reviews of Perisher

PJ from Australia writes:

Just got back from the best weeks skiing we have had in Perisher for at least 10 years. Great snow, great company and no hassles. Like most punters are saying, if you get there a little earlier and plan your day then there is no problems with crowds. Love the new ticketing system except for one problem. Not all the lifts have an electronic gate (as yet) so my sixteen year old son got the wood on me for the week, because I spent too much time @ Nth.P. The only place that really needs attention is getting back from Mt.P.via Happy Valley T-Bar, where a lift is desperately needed. P.S even got 15% off beer @ Jax bar using my cheap season pass.
