6 day La Tzoumaz snow forecast

This quiet little resort is a great place to base yourself if you aren't bothered about wild nightlife. There are a couple of ok bars and restaurants and the supermarket is well stocked. Definitely a good family resort. Lots of good value private rentals to be had through local agents which are within a short walk to the gondola.

This place has great access to Verbier, in fact if you ride/ski fast you can get to some of the best bits in Verbier before people in Verbier get there!

There is no park to speak of but there are loads of natural hits and features to play on and some decent booters get built not too far from the piste if you keep your eye out. You can get to the park at Verbier pretty easily and its been getting much better year by year. Alternatively if you have a car you can get to Nendaz (25 mins), Thyon (35 mins) and Crans Montana (50mins) where there are some excellent parks.

If the snow is good there is some excellent off-piste and some really good tree riding to be had, all of which is pretty easily accessible. Being mostly North Facing Tzoumaz holds its snow better than Verbier and some good stashes of Pow can be found after everything in Verbier is long gone to porridge or been tracked out if you are willing to earn it.

Lifts are all in good condition apart from the lift back up to Savoleyres from Verbier side which is next in line for replacement, but plans where put on hold for some reason. Not sure what a previous reviewers used to but by European standards all the lifts are perfectly acceptable.
