Visitor Reviews of Jackson Hole

Jeff Murray from United Kingdom writes:

Jackson Hole and the surrounding are is, for me, probably the best all round skiing are in the world minus the crowds. Jackson Hole Resort is fantastic and can cater to your wildest ambitions, in bounds and out of bounds. In the immediate area you also have fabulous and unique opportunities for ski touring in the National Parks from taking an easy hike but great snow to a tough hike and again great snow. The people of Wyoming and neighbouring Idaho are real friendly and always appreciate visitors from back in Europe. My favourite other area that compares is Argentiere where the riding is legendary. From Europe it’s a long way to get to Jackson but I promise you won’t be disappointed by the resort, the backcountry, the food, the wildlife and the people. While you are there get your skis over to Snow King in downtown Jackson and let them run, that’s a real fun and challenging downhill. During your time in Jackson you will bump into ski legends and you wouldn’t know it because they are such modest people. Jackson Hole, what a place. Possibly the cradle of US skiing! Buy yourself a copy of local DVD 'Legends of the Fall Line' and educate and respect.
