There in Jan 06, really good quality service as you tend to expect in the US, friendly and occasionally perturbing for the sarcy european! Conditions fantastic real rockies powder snow, it seriously dumps here like the other resorts in the area. Very high resort, accomodation at around 3,000 metres so it takes a while to adjust to the altitude. It effects some more than others. The tree runs some of the best I've ever done with great glade areas which keep you busy on white out days. The bowls out the back other good off piste and during the week after a dump are awesome as no one is around. Being 2 hours from Denver it can get crowded at the weekend but go for the beeline lift ticket and you go straight past everyone, nice. Good park with 3 pipes, the terrain and conditions differs a lot from the French Alps where I ride most of the time, runs seemed less steep, tree line much higher but the quality of the snow is exceptional. Go for 10 days or more from Europe, check out Frisco for a real town Colorado beer and burger. Food ok ish, there is a good salad bar at the main food hall to get your five a day otherwise you'll struggle! Shops offer good range and price of kit excellent service, cheap compared with Europe. Bus and lifts are faultless, apres ski is a bit sleepy though no weird drinking songs here. Couple of good bars for later on if not a little expensive.

I would go again or to another resort nearby like Winter Park
