Visitor Reviews of Chamrousse chappers from UNITED KINGDOM writes: Visited at xmas 06 and was suprised by the amount of snow. The village is not the best looking but the skiing was better than I had thought. We ski several times a year and we were pleasantly surprised in Chamrousse and would recommend it especially to families. Access is easy to the slopes and, despite being the Xmas holiday, did not have any queues ever. Very French and not expensive by Alps standards.
