Black Mountain in the United States (New Hampshire State) is a small ski resort with just 4 ski lifts (2 chair lifts, 2 surface lifts) but it does boast a respectable 335 metres (1100 feet) of vertical descent. Black Mountain has 132 acres of terrain over 40 trails. Black Mountain is best suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is a also a lot of terrain for beginners and experts too. There are 150 kilometers (94 miles) of cross country ski trails at Black Mountain. For snowboarders, there are 2 terrain parks and a half pipe.
