Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has announced that it will host its third annual “Ski in Jeans Day”, as part of a long list of December events that also includes discounted tickets for the Resort’s 60th Anniversary and free lift tickets for children aged 12 and under during Kids on Snow.

Ski in Jeans Day has proven wildly popular, with 3,320 people taking part last year. This year on Friday, Dec. 5. skiers are again encouraged to don their favourite denim to hit the slopes on National Blue Jeans Day. Doing so also means discounted lift tickets, as well as special giveaways, drink deals and the chance to ride a mechanical bull during après-ski celebrations in Teton Village.

When the event debuted in 2023, Jackson Hole promptly set a new world record for the most people skiing and riding in jeans, before breaking it again last season. Lift tickets will cost $35 for the event this year, rental equipment will be available at 50% off the daily rate. A three-day lift ticket for the entire weekend will cost $199.

Guests can also enjoy fun activities when they are done on the slopes, including the mechanical bull riding as well as cattle roping stations in the Village Commons. Vendors will have a variety of pop-up displays in celebration of Ski in Jeans, and the Tram Dock restaurant will welcome guests to an après party and music with Montucky Cold Snacks at the base of the Aerial Tram.

Jackson Hole will be celebrating its 60th Anniversary all winter long with a variety of special activities including an official 60th Anniversary Celebration on Dec. 19 when single-day lift tickets will be reduced to $60 “while supplies last”, and the resort will host a series of special activities to celebrate, including a retro ski costume contest at Tram Dock.
