Whistler Blackcomb is celebrating its 60th anniversary with the debut of seven new “Wonder Routes,” for winter 2025/26. The routes are a curated network of trails, waypoints, and scenic stops designed to showcase the resort’s most awe-inspiring terrain and après-ski culture.
These self-guided tours invite skiers and riders to experience the famous Canadian resort's vast alpine playground through themed journeys tailored to different moods, abilities, and interests.
The Top of the World Route is a panoramic showcase, guiding guests to the four highest points across Whistler and Blackcomb. From Whistler Peak to 7th Heaven, it’s a 360° celebration of the Coast Mountains’ grandeur. For those chasing high-speed turns, the Going for Gold Route traces Olympic legacy terrain, blending performance with heritage.
The Alpine Sampler offers a taste of everything: bowls, groomers, and glades stitched into a flowing circuit ideal for intermediate skiers looking to explore both mountains. Meanwhile, the Super Blues Route is a cruiser’s dream—long, mellow runs with sweeping views, perfect for those who prefer rhythm over adrenaline.
Families and young adventurers will gravitate toward the Family Wonder Route, which includes whimsical stops like the Magic Castle and the Sea to Sky Railway Trail, designed to spark imagination and delight. Tree-skiing enthusiasts can dive into the Glade Stashes Route, a forested treasure hunt through Whistler’s best hidden pockets of powder and solitude.
Finally, the Après Route blends skiing with social spirit, guiding guests to iconic on-mountain lodges and village hotspots where the day’s stories are shared over drinks and live music.
