I have chosen the Hokkaido GTX Jacket – FEATURING GORE-TEX® POW POW 2.0 SNOW-SHEDDING STRETCH FABRIC

Named after the powder capital of the world, the insulated Hokkaido offers an elevated level of comfort coupled with unmatched freedom of movement. The outer shell is constructed of cutting-edge GORE-TEX® POWPOW 2.0, Gore’s 4-way stretch fabric laminate exclusive to Spyder.

POWPOW 2.0’S smooth surface texture sheds snow unlike any other material on the mountain. Featuring PrimaLoft® Gold ECO insulation for superior warmth and an internal chassis system for enhanced movement, the Hokkaido offers plush comfort as you plow through the softest powder.

As dialed inside as it is out, the Hokkaido has a removable powder skirt, core ventilation system, interior 4 way stretch with additional panels that customize fit and performance, removeable adjustable and helmet compatible hood along with all the other functions one would need in their ski jacket.

Womens:

Spyder have created clever designs with clean lines, a tailored fit and luxurious details. Style doesn’t mean you have to cut corners on technology, the women’s ski range boasts all the tech with GORE-TEX® laminate and Primaloft insulation ensuring you are protected, comfortable AND looking great on the mountain!

One of the biggest complaints people have with insulated ski jackets is that poorly designed models can feel restrictive. SPYDER took a 360º inside and out approach to their jackets, ensuring that female skiers have options that keep them warm and dry, without hindering movement. The Captivate features a 2L GORE-TEX® stretch exterior, providing waterproof-breathable protection from Mother Nature’s worst. However, a stretch-shell isn’t helpful if the rest of the jacket doesn’t move with the wearer, so SPYDER designs jackets with interior stretch panels that allow for easy movement without restriction. Recycled Primaloft eco-insulation provides superior warmth on the mountain, and zippered underarm ventilation is there for days when the weather is a bit warmer than expected.

The Captivate has a beautiful feminine cut and features our heritage color blocking for extra style-points. Taped seams for added waterproof protection, powder skirt with snap back, adjustable cuffs with interior thumb holes, helmet-compatible hood, and dedicated pockets for lift tickets, goggles, and other on-mountain necessities.

Kids:

The Kid’s range covers 2 – 16 year old’s and will be hard to beat…it’s been thoroughly thought through and there is definitely no compromise! It has the same design process using high-tech materials for comfort, protection and performance! Our little skiers are in the same cold, wet environment so why should we cut any corners with their gear … arguably they need to be kept warmer and dryer than the adults!

Made from RepreveTM a fabric made of re-cycled plastic bottles. Insulated with Primaloft eco and fully waterproof with a 10k/10k DWR laminate not only are they high tech but also responsible.

My favourite feature is ‘Room To Grow’. They have made the trouser hem and jacket cuffs with an additional 2 inches for when your little skier grows. You simply unpick the red guide stitch & the length expends giving another season of wear.

The kids eco-friendly range also have a great ‘Pass Me On’ label on the inside encouraging further use. Spyder is built to last, so this hand me on feature is a great addition to pass on the clothing for other little skiers to enjoy.
