Snowboarding Celebrated at Tignes Winter Fest
From 11–13 January 2026, the slopes and streets of Tignes will transform into a vibrant celebration of snow sports and boarding culture as the famous French resort’s Winter Fest returns with a packed programme of art, music, and adrenaline-fuelled action.

Free and open to all, whether you're a seasoned shredder or a curious spectator, the three-day Winter Fest 2026 is a love letter to snowboarding and the wider boarding and the creative spirit that fuels them. Expect pop-up art galleries, film premieres, historic snowboard exhibitions, and electrifying DJ sets from the iconic Ed Banger label. The Tignespace skatepark will host live skate demos and a photography masterclass featuring three renowned photographers and four elite riders.
In parallel, the Winter Pro Test invites mountain professionals to trial the latest gear from top brands including Nitro, Burton, Salomon, DC, Rossignol, Jones and Yes. It’s a chance to preview new-season models in real snow conditions.
This year also marks a new partnership between Tignes and Nitro, one of the world’s leading snowboard brands. To celebrate, the Palet snowpark is undergoing a fresh facelift, promising even more thrills for riders of all levels.
Tignes and Val Thorens are expected to be the first in France to open on the 22nd November, going for more than five-months (163 days) of skiing through to 3 May 2026. Day passes are priced from €58 for Tignes-only access during early and late season periods, with children under eight and seniors over 75 skiing free.
From 29 November 2025, the Tignes-Val d'Isère link will be open for full access to the ski area. Day passes covering Tignes-Val d'Isère start at €64 during the low season and €75 from 13 December – 24 April.
