After sending 13 Olympians to the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, Colorado’s Steamboat has ties to more winter Olympians in North America thank any other destination, with 100 and counting.

Now with the 2026 Winter Olympics fast approaching Steamboat is debuting two new experiences for resort visitors tied to that deeply rooted heritage with unique Olympic athlete experiences.

The new Ski with an Olympian opportunity enables guests to book a full day guided tour with a Steamboat Olympian to explore the resort. Full day guided tours start at $2500 for select dates throughout the season. Guests are encouraged to ski/ride at an intermediate level to ensure they have the best experience. Tours meet on the bricks next to the Billy Kidd statue at 9am and conclude around 3pm.

Also new this year, guests can enjoy dinner with an Olympian. The experience provides an intimate setting in The Steamboat Grand’s reimagined restaurant, The Crooked Antler. Enjoy a delicious meal and hear personal experiences from Steamboat’s Olympians throughout history. The cost starts at $59 per guest plus gratuity and tax and includes the cost of the Olympian’s meal. Tables seat 8-10 people, so guests may have a private or shared dining experience based on the number of seats purchased.

Ski and Dinner programs will be available on steamboat.com. Guests will have the option to book by selecting either a date or Steamboat Olympian.
