Peak Performance Marks a Decade of Freeride Innovation
Peak Performance’s new Vertical Pro collection

Ten years after redefining big mountain outerwear, Peak Performance is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its Vertical PRO range with a bold leap forward in freeride technology. The Scandinavian brand’s latest release—the Vertical GORE-TEX PRO series—ushers in a new era of sustainable performance, featuring the cutting-edge GORE-TEX PRO ePE membrane, free from intentionally added PFAS chemicals.

Since its debut, the Vertical PRO line has accompanied elite freeriders to the summit of world podiums and the depths of legendary backcountry terrain. Now, the 2025 collection builds on that legacy with a best-in-class offering designed for uncompromising ski days in the wild.

Developed in close collaboration with Peak Performance’s athlete team—including Freeride World Tour champions Justine Dufour-Lapointe (2025) and Hedvig Wessel (2024)—the new Vertical GORE-TEX PRO 3L Jackets (£690) and RO Pants (£600) are engineered for durability, mobility and breathability in extreme alpine conditions. The garments are fully seam-sealed and constructed with the new ePE membrane: a lightweight, ultra-thin innovation from GORE-TEX that delivers robust waterproofing without the environmental baggage of PFAS.

Field-tested in harsh terrain and refined through athlete feedback, the range includes thoughtful technical details such as YKK AquaGuard® zippers, integrated RECCO® reflectors, and transceiver loops in every pocket. The jacket’s five-panel hood offers full adjustability for helmeted or bare-headed protection, while the high-waisted bib pants feature snow gaiters for deep powder days.

True to Peak Performance’s design ethos, the collection pairs technical excellence with visual impact. This season’s palette draws from the elemental tones of the mountains—deep earth, shifting light, and alpine shadow—ensuring freeriders stand out without compromising stealth or style.

The 2025 Vertical GORE-TEX PRO series will be available from August, marking a decade at the summit of backcountry apparel. With its athlete-led development and next-gen membrane tech, it’s not just a celebration—it’s a statement of intent for the future of freeride gear.
