North America Intro
Unseasonably warm weather has led to early closures across major US ski regions, particularly in California, Colorado and Utah. Many leading resorts, including Park City, closed on 29th March as temperatures climbed more than 20°C above freezing, leaving only limited terrain at those still operating. Conditions remain notably better in Canada, where continued snowfall and colder temperatures are supporting a stronger late season.

Western Canada Snow Report
Western Canada is enjoying a late-season boost, with fresh snowfall and solid base depths across Alberta and British Columbia. Lake Louise and Sunshine Village have reported strong weekly totals of 60–64cm (24–26"), while interior resorts such as Revelstoke and Kicking Horse continue to hold upper-mountain snow depths exceeding 240cm (8 feet). Further snowfall has been reported in the Kootenays, with resorts like Fernie and Whitewater seeing additional accumulations.

Western Canada Snow Forecast
Snow is expected to return widely, with sub-zero summit temperatures supporting further accumulation. Lower elevations may see mixed precipitation at times, particularly on the coast.

Eastern Canada Snow Report
Eastern Canada continues to offer reliable late-season skiing, particularly in Quebec, where coverage remains strong. Mont-Sainte-Anne and Le Massif both report high terrain availability, while conditions in Ontario are more variable, though cooler nights are helping preserve the snowpack.

Eastern Canada Snow Forecast
A mixed pattern develops with snow at higher elevations and rain at lower levels. Temperatures are expected to dip again into the weekend, improving snow prospects.
US West Coast Snow Report
Colder weather and snowfall have finally returned to the West Coast, ending a prolonged warm and dry spell. However, this change has come too late for many resorts, with more than a dozen Californian areas already closed during March and others across Oregon and Washington following suit.
US West Coast Snow Forecast
Snow continues at higher elevations with sub-zero temperatures, although lower slopes are likely to see rain or wet snow, particularly in California.

US Rockies Snow Report
Warm temperatures have continued to impact the Rockies, forcing early closures and reducing terrain availability across Colorado and Utah. Major resorts including Park City and Deer Valley closed earlier than expected, while others remain open with limited coverage.

US Rockies Snow Forecast
Colder conditions and snowfall are returning, with sub-zero summit temperatures supporting fresh accumulations, though lower elevations may still see mixed precipitation.
US Midwest Snow Report
The Midwest season is rapidly winding down, with most ski areas now closed and only a small number continuing operations into early April. Conditions have been variable, with light snowfall, thawing periods and typical springtime fluctuations.

US Midwest Snow Forecast
A colder end to the week may bring snowfall to higher terrain, but the overall trend is toward milder, spring-like conditions.
US East Coast Snow Report
The East Coast has continued to see snowfall, with totals of up to 30cm (12") reported alongside periods of sunshine and milder temperatures. Conditions have remained relatively favourable, although spring is beginning to take hold.

US East Coast Snow Forecast
A warmer, wetter pattern is expected to develop, with rain likely at most elevations and only limited snowfall on the highest terrain.
