Mt.High is pretty much a locals resort for anyone living in SoCal. There's almost no mountain driving and is close enough to get up for the day then be home for dinner from most of SoCal. The snow can be really good on occasion and the park features are almost always out in abundance. The crowd can get big during weekends especially when there's fresh snow, but weekdays you feel like you have the place to yourself sometimes.

This resort can sometimes have great snow/ski conditions, however you have to come on the right day in order to avoid the crowds. It is one of the closest resorts to LA, which means alot of people on the mountain. Better snow and crowd conditions can be found at Big Bear, Snow Summit and especially Mammoth Mountain.
