Great location being near Bergamo airport. great views and surprisingly few queues at the lifts. Not expensive but a bit limited in that there are only 35kms. Monticolo is nearby as well as the spa town of Boario Terme .

Montecampione is a very nice ski resort. The hotel is rather large and satisfies all needs for 10 days stay. Few restaurants, grocery store, ski store, and few others, some sort of disco, and main bar where most guests come in the evening. Food more than great. Pasta all day long :) As for skiing, you can ski all day at Montecampione and still don't take same ski trail twice. Last season there was about 5m of snow, and my room window on first floor was completely covered. Avalanche was also quite often, so beware.
