Last week I spent a magnificent week there, beautiful sunny weather and powdery slopes. Thanks to the modern lift facilities their are almost no lift queue's. The views are wonderful, with all those snowy pine trees. The restaurants can be a bit expensive so head up to Marilleva (slope connection) for cheaper restaurants.
Just back from Madonna. Unbelievable amount of powder during 26/27 Jan. At least 100cm of new snow. Excellent runs; good mountain & town based restaurants.

We have just spent a magnificent week in Madonna-di-Campiglio. The snow was great, the slopes were quiet over christmas and we never saw a lift queue all week. We stayed at the Garni Dello Sportivo hotel run by Georgio Stefani and his family.
The Pradalago lift station is almost in his car park! and you can ski to within 75 yards of the door.
All the runs were prepared well and since our return they have had lots of new snow January should be fantastic.
