On Wednesday I went skiing at the Hermon, on Thursday I went to the beach in Tel Aviv, and on Saturday we were at the Dead Sea - cant beat that for versitility! But seriously - if you catch the Hermon on a day after it has snowed it is great - they have some really fun off-piste runs (which in Israel means it's pretty much a regular run:-) the chairs are very, very slow, and if they are not open, the lines can get very long - and of course you have to push. I love going up for the day (two days max!)

Mt Hermon is a fantastic place to ski and definitely worth a visit if you are in Israel during the winter months. The off -piste is really accessable and fun and the slopes are suitable for all levels. Its an amazing experience to be skiing or snowboarding in Israel, a place so often associated with deserts and sunny beaches. The near by Moshav of Neve Ativ looks just like a Swiss alpine village and is the best place to stay.
