Hello everybody.
It has been a while since I last wrote here and I have much fresh stuff to tell.
Although I have been frustrated from the bad organization of the snow center which I like so much, I have to mention a few very positive things that took place lately.
1. The administration of the snow center seems to respond to our posts and to tens of others posted elsewhere. I do not remember an other time the last few years that the snow center opened at 16th December.
2. The prices remain the same with last year. Not that it's cheep but at least they were not "adjusted".
3. Since the only lift working was Achileas, the price was reduced (15 Euro)
3. After a couple of hours they opened the anchor lift and after 2 days they opened Stiga !!!. Yes Stiga was open all the previous week !!!!!.
It seems that something good is happening there.
I cross my fingers and will observe closely to report again with good news I hope.
Lets hope that a new "era" is emerging for the Kalavrita Snow Center.
I wish to all pleasant and safe rides and a happy new year.
See you on the slopes where I'll be tomorrow and for three days.
