Visitor Reviews of Hafjell

S Morrissey Forde from NORWAY writes:

We are just back from a week skiing in Hafjell. It was fantastic. We had being skiing twice before so the slopes here were perfect for us. There is a good few green and blue slopes and you can ski on these right from the top of the mountain down or if you are a bit braver you can take a red/black route down so it caters for all. We had an 11 year old and a 15 year old with us and they loved it as they could do some off-piste skiing through forests. We did five days of ski school 90 mins a day and it was well worth it and Eric, our instructor, was fantastic. We stayed in Lillehammer and got the ski bus up each day. I would highly recommend you do the husky dog trip while over there; well worth it. Norway is more expensive than Ireland or UK so be prepared to fork out a bit more for food and drink. We will definitely return.
