The Furano Ski Area Furano Zone is still open for the 2008-2009 ski season!! Lift tickets are 2,800 yen for adults and 2,000 yen for children and seniors until May 6, 2009 when the mountain closes.
The Kitanomine Zone closed for the season on March 29, and will open again in December 2009.

New this season, the Furano lift pass included a day of skiing at neighbouring resorts Kamui Ski Links and Tomamu, giving you more terrain for your money. With a 5-7 day Furano lift pass, skiers had access to Kamui or Tomamu for one day. A 8+ day Furano lift pass gave skiers access to both Kamui and Tomamu for one day each.
he New Furano Prince Hotel opened a brand new hot springs facility at the base of the mountain, offering a great way to unwind after a day of skiing.
