Visitor Reviews of Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort
People are having serious injuries or death here every year not doing anything extraordinary or challenging. For example, triple diamond skiers falling after hitting hidden holes at base of mountain because of misplaced markers and rocks in the middle of poorly groomed runs; staffed by kids, Lord of the Flies style in the middle of nowhere. Avoid. Recommend Mammoth/June (4hrs north of here via 95->266) and note that children ski free at June. Mt. High/Bear Mt. (3hrs south of here off 15) are safer and less money, but a distant second to Mammoth/June. Hate to rag on this place, but I think it's unsafe and should close.
