Harrachov is larger and steeper than many Czech resorts. Harrachov has a good network of, mainly intermediate, NW-facing slopes on Mt Certak. If you are lucky, you will get to see some spectacular ski jumping since Harrachov is the main centre for training and competitions in the Czech Republic. An impressive village setting with a good snow record. There is night skiing and good ski schools with a choice of rental shops. There are 125km of cross-country trails. Lively nightlife for those who want it - though it's easily avoided if you prefer peace. Harrachov is located north of Rokytnice, near the Polish borderline.
