Staff were professional and helped for all queries genuinely. Rooms were properly cleaned and provided a soft pillow when requested. Coffee vending machine is an added feature which i liked it a lot.

Stayed at the Nasushiobara Station Hotel for 1 night. It is located right next to the Nasushiobara station by taking the west exit. Just look for the tall yellow building with a big Hotel sign on the top of the roof. The room that I stayed in was a Japanese-style room. There is lots of space in the room and the Tatami was quite comfy. Buffet-style breakfast was included during my stay and it was pretty good with some Japanese and Western assortment. The staffs I encounter in this hotel are very friendly.

Everything! Everything is perfect! From the staff member meeting us at the door, to the AMAZING ROOM! The bed and pillows were comfortable. The balcony open air tub was a dream! The view was spectacular. The dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious! There is a stand with so many snacks that you can take back to your room! Including ice cream. You are free to grab a drink at any time (until the restaurant closes) and take it back to your room. Free parking and an amazing Onsen town.

This was my first trip to Japan and I wanted to have an authentic experience of Japanese culture. Akasawa Ryokan not only provided traditional onsen experience in Ryokan but also offered great hospitality to get places around the town. As a foreigner traveling Japan for the first time, I felt so welcomed. Also I really enjoyed breakfast and dinner there as well, which were delicious and authentic.
