Beautiful view from our cozy chalet. The host had great communication & was helpful in suggesting day trips & spectacular hikes from the front door of the chalet. Our chalet was the perfect base to visit Neuschwanstein, the Parknach Gorge, the Zugspitze & other lovely hikes that the host suggested. The host provided a lovely meal breakfast every morning. Our room was very comfortable & spotlessly clean. We only regret we couldn’t stay longer. It is a tremendous accommodation! We loved it!!MarionUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
I recommend Sportstüberl - the best restaurant one could...
I recommend Sportstüberl - the best restaurant one could imagine! Each week there's a concert of local brass-band, which is great. Also, Berwang is located at the level of 1342 m a.s.l, so it's an ideal start point for hiking, considering elevation gain. The views from Berwang are astonishing and everyone is very nice. There is also a perfect tourist information point at the heart of the village.

The room was comfortable, with a modern bathroom with a good walk-in shower. It was quiet at night. Our room had a small balcony with a view of the mountains. Berwang is a small town and you can walk everywhere. Although there was one flight of stairs to our room, the stairs were not steep and had a good handrail. It's an easy day trip to get to the Austrian side of Zugspitze gondola.

We liked that the second bedroom was separated from the rest (with own bathroom), so our daughter did not disturb anyone. The location is perfect in a calm part of the village. The owners were very helpful ready to assist anytime. I can recommend it to families with kids as an ideal place to spend holidays in the Alps.

Our daughter just could not believe her eyes when she woke up and saw it. The place is spacious, kitchen is fitted with everything we needed. Including great coffee, recommended by the host.

We could ride up and have a good hike at the top in the cooler air. Alternatively, we could take a very easy walk back down the mountain arriving back in Berwang in 50 minutes.
