There was a great choice of lodging and restaurants.
There was a great choice of lodging and restaurants. They also had many shops and a variety of snow sports shops for all your skiing, boarding, and other snow sports needs. The pedestrian gondolas provided free transportation from the base to the mall. There were many buses providing free transportation all over, including to more restaurants and the market a little outside the base village.

Snowmass Village is an excellent place to take a family on a ski vacation. It's beautiful, the skiing is excellent and relatively hassle free. Lots of restaurants and things to see and do. We will absolutely come back!

The Village has a variety of events, activities, accommodations, restaurants, and shops. Great bus system in the Village, to Aspen, and throughout the valley too.

Great place to visit for your ski or snowboarding trips.
Great place to visit for your ski or snowboarding trips. Snowmass is one of the top 3 ski resort i loved in the whole world . Especially for powder days . But it is quite expensive to stay there, and I suggest to make reservation for dinner in Snowmass village as every places in the mall or the village are busy, last min finding a good place to eat is not easy .

snowmass has a great mountain resort... the mountain is huge, the runs are long, there are a lot of blue slopes and enough black diamond slopes for the experts.. you can definitely have a lot of fun here and wished you stayed longer

Sweet place but I prefer Park City and Telluride to this one. Nothing wrong with it, just like the wild west atmosphere and shopping of the other two. Lots of near-identical runs here which are all fun and cool. Just didn’t tweak me like the others. I did love Viceroy Snowmass for service, luxury and amazing customer service, in fact the staff at both Viceroy and at Snowmass Resort are on a level I’ve never experienced before, a rare 10.0.

Incredible hotel experience! I added that it was my daughter's birthday and they decorated the room before we arrived. I just mentioned it…. Awesome! The breakfast was great and dinner by the fire outside was too. We needed help with going to Maroon bells and Tom the concierge gave us more than help he ordered the electric bikes and made dinner plan for us in Aspen. The hotel is in a nice little hamlet with access to Aspen. We went in the fall but I can only imagine how much better this would be in the winter.
The hotel is a great value for money in terms of the room. What makes a big difference is the cleanliness, the staff which was welcoming, responsive and warm. The meals that come from Artisan restaurant are top notch! We discovered them only on second day and regretted that we ate outside on the first.
Warmed pool outside was great for us and the kids. We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back again in the future
It was the best ski stay I've ever had in my life. Perfect location! 3 minutes from the lift, shopping and buses across the street. We don't need a car for anything, super convenient. But for me what really matters in a hotel are the beds, pillows and towels. And they have it all with great quality! Without a good shower and a good night's sleep, skiing becomes a nightmare! I want to come back for sure!
Loved the hotel theme, attention to detail of mountain/ski/cabin look, room was clean, spacious, friendly staff, and the restaurant served excellent food at good prices. Hotel is close to shops, and in the Snowmass village with pretty views without paying Aspen prices. It’s 18 miles from Maroon Bells so it’s close enough without paying Aspen high prices.
The staff was so nice! They have a shuttle that picked me up at the airport, and they also dropped me off. I have an injured hand and I was helped with my luggage. I didn't try the breakfast; the lodge is right next to Snowmass Mall, so I just walked there every morning for coffee. Would have loved to stay longer!!
Fantastic location, right at the ski slopes and 1min to the mall with all the shops, bars and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Technican was available (we could not figure out the heating). Room for skis. Fitness room and Jacuzzi. Versatile and ample breakfast (included). Free shuttle to airport.
The room was fine. Everything we needed was provided. The bed was very comfortable. We knew the room would be small, but it was quite crowded with the sofa bed opened up. Nonetheless we got a good night's sleep before an early morning flight out of ASE.
Lounge and Sun deck were the best features of the hotel. Rooms are small and old but they were clean. Pictures online make rooms look much nicer than they really are. Price was steep. Food at restaurant on site was very expensive and so so quality.
The views and level of ready-to-use were very nice. The condo was extremely beautiful and clean upon arrival with plenty of resources available. The central location made it great for getting around between both Snowmass village and Aspen.
Easy check in. Good communication prior to arriving. Nice location in Snowmass and easy access to Aspen. Very well kept unit and a clean as could be. So much better than a hotel room and with all the amenities. Beautiful property,
Good kitchen amenities: spices, tea kettle, microwave cover. Loved ski in ski out. The unit was well furnished. Liked the outdoor hot tub. Unloading the car into the back door was very convenient.
