The villas are clean and comfortable. The heat works well. The location is perfect! It's just a few minutes walk to the ski resort and to the rec center. The pool area is clean and although not huge it's spacious enough for 10-12 kids to play around. There's also a decent sized hot tub as well as a sauna. They offer games you can borrow and take to your villa. They have crockpots you can borrow also. That came in handy for cooking dinner while we were on the slopes all day. The beds are comfortable. They provide enough towels and linens inside the villas. There are no pool towels so keep that in mind. The pots and pans were stainless steel but rounded on the bottom which made cooking rather interesting. A small salt and pepper sample set, two dryer sheets and one sample bottle of detergent would have been ideal but no biggie.

Musty smell, dirty pots, furniture covered in dust, black...

Musty smell, dirty pots, furniture covered in dust, black widow and web enclosed a giant centipede by outdated baseboard heating. Used sheets with butter knives for privacy since blinds were broken beyond repair. Box spring cover ripped apart, headboard badly broken held together with staples, wall hangings dry rotted and torn. We’d unloaded our car and put things away by the time we found all the problems. Repacking and going to a different location and unloading the car, having to pack up again to go home wouldn’t have been easy for us (both in our 60’s w/physical disabilities) easy. This was our anniversary vacation. Unit next door had ruckus wee hours of morning, police called interrupted sleep. Awaken 7:30am by maintenance for us to move our car so they could dig up water pipe. No water for 3+ hrs, next day power went out for 3hrs. We both came home with sinus infections. Stoney Court agreed our stay was horrific but refused to compensate us for all we had to deal with even after being thoroughly alarmed at the pictures we took on our iPhone to prove what took place. ‘Will’ at the office cringed when he saw the photos even saying we had more than enough evidence to prove our unit wasn’t prepared for guests but b/c we didn’t book directly with them they weren’t liable (even though it’s their property). The natural scenery is breathtaking but Stony Court is a nightmare.

Plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Plenty to do in the surrounding area. Great for kids with the caverns. Wine for the adults plenty of family fun around. Atvs horse back riding tours. Definitely something for all ages and everyone in the family. People are very friendly. Not a lot of dining options though. Fair prices everywhere you can stay and have a very memorable weekend for a family of 4 for less then 500 dollers. We had a blast here will definitely be coming back

    Bayse was beautiful.

Bayse was beautiful. It's a small town full of trails, lakes, resorts, etc. The only stores around, that we saw, were one country gas station and 2 restaurants. We ended up getting lost about 45 minutes away because our phones lost signal and no one we asked had heard of Bayse.
