Great slopes for beginners so suited our family group.
Great slopes for beginners so suited our family group. Not all the lifts or pistes were open, and it was the same when we were there in January. This was disappointing as there was plenty of snow for our Easter break.

Perfect for a mixed skilled family skiing group! 1.5 hour drive from Turin Airport. The resort is compact enough to walk around with all facilities in the area, we will definately return! Good skiing, had a lesson, apres ski and food great too. Slopes safe and well maintained. Had delicious generous portioned pizza/burger meals at Kovo which also shows SKY sports. also ate at Pinky Food and drinks, great pastas! Also ate at local family restaurantand a scenic outdoor restaurant, will add the names later!

Lovely resort. Quiet when we stayed.
Lovely resort. Quiet when we stayed. Le Lei and Baby are great restaurants in town. Best restaurant in town is found through entering building where Farmacia Jayme is - walk into building, past the pharmacy entrance on right, and it is at the end of the corridor on your left (past a little toy shop). Great food, fantastic staff.
Sestriere is small and easy to get around. Good Carrefour supermarket on main strip.

The French side of the Vialattea ski area is much more better.
Snow situation was very bad, but the snow cannons were not used.
Town was very quiet in the evenings.
The restaurants in the slopes were quite messy and poor quality in food and price comparison to other Italian ski resorts and Austria.

Sestriere is a very small but cute town.
Sestriere is a very small but cute town. Access to the pistes is easy and there are a lot of facilities for renting equipement, cafes, etc.
We had a hard time looking for restaurants for dinner, as every single one was fully booked.
We had a smooth check-in and check-out experience and the 3-bed room had plenty of space for our bags. Half of the hotel has mountain-views and those are awesome. The other have must have a view on one of the main streets, which won't be as great. Breakfast was very decent, with fresh fruit, pancakes and croissants, eggs & bacon, etc. We did not try the restaurant in the evening, opting for pizzerias across the street (try Baby!). We could park our car for free behind the hotel.
A nice private apartment, suitable for a family of 4. Well equipped with all the necessary stuff, kitchenware, bed linen and towels were provided. Large living room with a convertible sofa and a bedroom of a decent size with some place to work, if you need it.
Private parking in a closed garage on the ground floor. Elevator right from the parking place up to the apartment door, very practical for hauling luggage.
The host was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a great location , its an old style hotel but nice tho.
The lady at the reception she was extremely nice. I have booked 2 rooms but by mistake I put only 2 persons instead of 4 and she didn't charge us anything extra. I would like to say thanks a lot for that. Drinks at the bar were great tho . We got there and were starving and the guys at the bar made their best to get us some nice food from the kitchen. ❤️
the kitchen was very nice and functional and the bathroom was awesome. the place has a little porch which is very nice.
the most important thing is the price. we wanted a cheap vacation and picking any other stay would have made it a lot more expensive. I would say that compared to the price, it’s by far the most cost efficient hotel/ apartment in sestriere.
Lovely family run hotel in quiet village. Clean rooms - cozy for a family of 4 but we expected this. Plenty of hot water - needed after a day on the slopes. Friendly staff. Useful storage room downstairs to keep skis and boots. Village of Borgata is lovely and quaint and a great location for accessing the slopes which good chairlifts from the village.
Spacious rooms (compared to French standards), basic but good "sports"-hotel. Reasonably equiped kitchen. Personel at reception extremely friendly and helpful. Garage right under the apartment at extra cost but worth it (especially since it was snowing the whole week). Great skiing area. Small shower but great water temperature at all times !
The hotel is very charming and the bar is great. Really buzzy with good staff, a lovely place to hang out. The ski in/out is great and you can get your ski passes there at a discounted rate. The shuttle into town is very good and all the staff were lovely. le, they are ok but the pillows are dreadful. The beds are not very comfortab
the breakfast was great and the dinner at the restaurant was magnificent. the facilities are well maintained. very nice view from the room and very clean. But the best thing in the hotel was the service and the staff, I was traveled over 50 countries and never had such a good experience from that aspect,
The staff were exceptional. We had a problem with our car during our stay and the hotel staff, especially Natalia on reception, was absolutely amazing in helping us sort it out. Good breakfast, great location for skiing with a chairlift just a few metres away.
The hotel is right in front of ski lift, ski rental, restaurant, and grocery store. Although the building itself is old the interiors are well maintained. Most importantly the staffs are friendly and always eager to help. Definitely worth the price.
Excellent family-oriented resort. The miniclub made our children really happy, They spent day and night enjoying the club activities. Thanks to all the resort staff members for always being helpful with a smile.
Really cheap compare to other places in Sestriere, so you get what you pay for.
+ shuttle bus to the lift
+ public bus outside of the hotel (to pragelato for cross country skiing/to oulx for train to Turin)
Far enough away from the centre of Sestriere to avoid the crowds but with a handy navetta to take you back and forth if you don't want to walk.
Staff all very helpful.
The hotel has a contemporary yet cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is to a good standard. It is very clean and comfortable.
