More about the ski resort

The four main summits of La Plagne ski resort are Roche de Mio (2,700 m), La Grande Rochette (2,505 m), Les Verdons (2,500 m) and Le Biolley (2,350 m). Expect breathtaking panoramic views and slopes with incredible vistas across the valley of La Plagne! Many of the resort’s slopes are perfectly suitable for beginners. For instance, the tree-less, wide slopes at Belle Plagne are ideal for less experienced skiers.

However, La Plagne also holds plenty of challenges for advanced winter sports athletes. La Plagne boasts some of the steepest black runs of the entire Alpine area, including thrilling backcountry runs. If you’re looking for a special challenge, we recommend the runs at Bellecôte glacier.

Freestylers will enjoy the Riders Nation Snowpark with its many boxes, jumps and chill-out zones. Plus, you can find boardercross facilities and a mini halfpipe there.

Mont Blanc run

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro: The famous Mont Blanc run is one of the highlights of La Plagne ski resort. It’s a 6.5-kilometre blue slope that winds its way down to the valley near Montchavin.

The Mont Blanc is not only one of the ski resort’s longest runs, it’s also one of the most popular ones. Snowboarders and skiers alike love it for the breathtaking panoramic views, the wide slope structure and the picturesque forest sections. The run ends in the village of Montchavin.
