We stayed here while my daughter participated in a softball tournament at the Legacy Center. It is a great location for anyone participating in an event there. The hotel is located close to the venue and surrounded by stores and restaurants to help with the downtime between games.

I grew up here and we were on this trip for family and personal reasons. I always enjoy coming back to visit Brighton. There are plenty of great restaurants and lots of good memories and friends as well.

The staff was very friendly but could not help with the issues. Hair dryer didn’t work. Coffee maker had power but didn’t work. Room smelled musty probably because the bathroom was damp. Breakfast had no protein options and the sausage gravy tasted moldy.

We booked through a third party which immediately gives you less attention at the hotel. The room originally reserved was a king suite, upon arrival we were given a standard dual queen bed room. This hotel backs to US-23 Expressway which of course is where our room was. Noise, noise, noise no rest here. Between the expressway and noisy non caring guests with young children allowed to run the halls and run around in the room next to use, what are we teaching our children about respect for others?

This place was amazing. We didn't come for pleasure.

This place was amazing. We didn't come for pleasure. We came cause it was closer to the hospital that my partner was having surgery at. It is a wonderful hotel. Nice and clean, helpful staff, service with a smile. Free lending locker, pool, clean towels, free laundry, and a gym. They also have the candlewood cupboard that sells whatever you might need or have a want for. My partner wanted Ice cream in the middle of the night and so I went there to get it. If you didn't mind leaving site there is a Meijer nearby and many many stores.

My husband and I were in the area to visit family. We had stayed at this hotel previously, but everything has been updated, and it was obvious from the moment we walked into the lobby. Kyle M welcomed us. Kyle was upbeat and professional. The lobby was bright, clean and smelled fresh. The entire hotel was clean and well cared for. Our room was large and comfortable, and secure. We will absolutely be back again!

I have stayed at several hotels in this area and Candlewood is by far my favorite. The staff was friendly and personable, everything is modern and clean, love the pool and the fact that there is a shower and a bathroom in the pool area. I did my laundry for no cost and the breakfast was great!

Rooms were very comfortable. WIFI connection was good throughout the whole building. Location of the Hotel was very good. You could reach everything you needed within a few minutes. Even though because of Covid the rooms have not been cleaned daily, I felt very comfortable.

The people at the desk, Rick and Andrea, were very helpful, the breakfasts were excellent, everything was clean, our room was spacious, and the hotel’s location was great. We really enjoyed staying here. We also appreciated having a walk-in shower instead of one with a tub.

Traveled 3 hours to get to the city from our home and didn't stop for food. LOVE that you have a little pantry that we could purchase food and just add to our bill, we haven't ever seen that before. LOVE the walk in shower, too. Wish more hotels had that feature. :)

They had a real breakfast as opposed to the grab n go at most places. Clean, relatively new looking facility well located near restaurants and shops in Brighton. Car required but easy drives to services in the area.
