This email contains the mid-elevation forecast for Meribel at the time the alert was triggered (6 pm Mon 06 Oct local time). Visit the Meribel forecast page for updated snow reports as well as revised forecasts for 2200m as well as top (2950m) and bottom (1450m) altitudes. Forecasts update every 6 hours
This new format alert includes longer range forecasts for the mid-station. We hope that the extra information proves useful. All users will soon be able to configure the criteria that cause an alert to be sent. For now, alerts are sent if snow is forecast within the next 3 days at the mid elevation of a resort. Soon you will be able to select days 3 to 6 or configure your alerts so that they are sent if fresh snow has been reported. In addition, members will be able to select alerts for multiple resorts and will have the option of triggering alerts using the long range 6-9 day forecasts too. At present, all alerts include summary 9 day forecasts but once the user options are available only members will see days 6 to 9, just as it is on the website
We won't send you another alert for at least 3 days from now to avoid too much email clutter in your inbox - even if the prospect of snow changes. We suggest that you regularly visit the Meribel forecast page. This provides much more detailed top, middle and bottom lift elevation forecasts and is updated every 6 hours.
Don't forget that you can switch off alerts, or change resort, simply by visiting the snowmail page
