Wintergreen Resort, in the United States (Virginia State), is a medium sized ski resort with 6 ski lifts (5 chair lifts, 1 surface lifts) that offers skiers a respectable 306 metres (1003 feet) of vertical descent. Wintergreen Resort has 125 acres of terrain over 19 trails with a total length of 12 kilometers (8 miles). Wintergreen Resort is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. Wintergreen is decent for this area. The season pass is a killer deal if you live in the area. The terrain park is getting better every year. Maybe 10 - 15 hit total in the park on average. The blacks and double blacks are pretty good as long as the wind stays down. Over all Its a good place for the money. Don't go on saturdays ( to many people) Although they have wicked fast lifts.
