Nelson, BC is a hidden gem located in the legendary Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia. Known for deep pow, Whitewater Ski Resort boasts a dependable dry snowfall that often totals over 12 meters (40 feet) during a season! Terrain consists of open bowls, glades, chutes, and tree skiing: accessable from 3 chairlifts, the newest installed in the 2010/2011 season. This new lift nearly doubled the skiable area on the backside of the mountain! Whitewater owes its reputation to the laid-back people of Nelson, short lift lines, reasonable prices, and big hospitality. Don't worry about packing a lunch, because the world-renowned Fresh Tracks cafe at the day lodge is sure to impress.
