By Slovakian standards this is an extensive, pretty, intermediate area with respectable a vertical drop when conditions allow. It is east of Cadca, on the Polish border. There's 10km of tree-lined slopes, served by 8 relatively queue-free lifts and accessed by 3 distinct ski centres: Laliky (630m), Dedovka (650m) and Marguška . Extensive snowmaking exists. Night skiing is available plus cross-country trails, including the long incline up to the Velka Raca summit (1236m).

Great little resort. I've been going for the last four years as a cheap alternative to the Alps. It has it's own special charm. The snow in 07 was bad with only a few runs open but in 06 they had over 2 metres of snow and it was amazing. Powder everywhere. As you would expect it is very, very cheap. We found it hard to spend more than 100 quid each and ate and drank well every night.
