The Kamnicka Bistrica valley, in the heart of the Kamnicke Alps, lies between the Krvavec Massif and the Velika Planina range, above Kamniška Bistrica. The high plateau is sprinkled with herdsmen's huts used for summer grazing and holiday cabins. It offers 6km of gentle, wide-open, treeless slopes. Nice surroundings. No artificial snow, so be sure there is enough snow. Another downside are the old ski lifts. Great place if you are a beginner and if there is enough snow.
