Ski resort in Greece? Are you nuts??? That was the reaction of people abroad when I tell them that I do ski in Greece and in particular in Vasilitsa.
Wel, not exactly a ski resort, more like a ski centre. Not very long ski runs but the scenery is magnificent and view from the top is breathtaking. You can see Mt Olympus from up there. Actually you can have great fun in Vasilitsa doing ski in powder and inside natural half-pipes and then you can go down to small villages of Smixi and Distrato and enjoy delicious local dishes … it sounds good, doesn’t it.
