Fairly unknown except to locals from Marseilles, Nice etc. No travel company tours. Great skiing when the link to Praloup to the north is open. No wellness centres or 4 star hotels, which is great. If you want that, go somewhere else.

We have a property in Castellane and regularly ski in Val d'Allos (Val D'allos 1500 Le Seignus).
Great place for families and singles alike.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great relaxing winter and summer holiday.

Great resort, very much cheaper than anywhere else in France, no waiting to get on the lifts. We rented an apartment from Roy & Fran at alpsholiday.co.uk and it was wonderful. What we did not know they helped us out with. Will going back again this season.
