Stratton Mountain, in the United States (Vermont State), is a large resort with 14 lifts (8 chair lifts, 5 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 610 metres (2003 feet) of vertical descent. Stratton Mountain has 585 acres of terrain over 90 trails with a total length of 100 kilometers (62 miles). Stratton Mountain is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 30 kilometers (19 miles) of cross-country ski trails at Stratton Mountain. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half-pipe. The majority of the trails at Stratton Mountain are covered by snow-making. The nearest airport is at Albany (New York). There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in Stratton Mountain.
